Grading

Why we grade our customers

Aerial fitness is a very empowering activity and serves purpose to many different individuals for many different reasons. All genres of aerial fitness, such as pole, hoops, silks, hypnotic heels and more are classed as Skill-related fitness’s which refers to abilities that help people learn skills. The six parts of skill-related fitness are agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time, and speed. Not only do we train the skill set of this art form (moves, shapes, drops, rolls etc) but we also increase our life skills and mindset/brain training skills.

Grading at Mission Studios

To celebrate our students achievements, in 2022 we introduced grading as part of our classes. There are many benefits to our new grading system:

  • A set requirement of moves for students to work towards or focus on
  • A celebration of the customers skills and how hard they have worked
  • Enables the customer to know what level they are and what classes to join
  • Encourages focus and drive from the student to reach their desired level
  • Brings groups and classes together in celebration
  • Company recognition of the customer’s hard work

Our gradings and certificates are completely free and incorporated into our syllabus for every student. There is no cost for achieving your certificate. We only grade for pole and hoop training.

Ask your instructor for all level 1 and 2 classes for a student check list and tick off each move you complete to track your progress. These can be found at all venues.
