Covid-19 Class Information Update (18th July 2020)

With so much happening in 2020, this year has been difficult to say the least. As a small enterprise, Mission Studios have been hit hard having to close their doors to our loyal customers in March, but with an optimistic spirit and the will to carry on, all of our instructors have been working hard, training new material, recreating our workout spaces to ensure they are safe and updating their knowledge about Covid-19.

All of this enables us as a company to ensure the most safe environment for you to return to us and continue your aerial fitness journey.

Please take a look at this post so you know all there is to know about the future of our classes in line with government guidelines for Covid-19.

Restrictions put in place for our new timetable

Class sizing and existing packages
Under government legislation we can only allocate one piece of equipment per customer and have restrictions on the amount of people who can be in one room at a given time. Following these restrictions we are only able to run social distancing semi private classes at this time. Due to lower class numbers, unfortunately this means we have had to increase our prices to a semi private price however we are doing a membership price.

Non members = £12.50
Members = £10

All existing customer packages are still frozen until the government allows us to fully open our doors and allow more than one person per pole. When we are allowed to do this, all packages shall be reinstated to your Gymcatch accounts for you to use normally. We will notify you when we are able to re-instate them.

Entering our studios
To ensure we don’t create unnecessary contact please enter the studios two minutes before your allocated class time. We have allocated time slots in between our classes which give our customers enough time to leave. Our instructors will be waiting ready for your arrival. Please do not wait in reception areas.

Wash your hands on arrival
All of our venues will provide hand washing facilities for you to wash your hands before and after class. Please ensure you follow this guideline. Please note hand sanitiser does not affect your grip. You are more than welcome to bring your own hand sanitiser. Using hand sanitiser at regular intervals is also appreciated.

Please take off your shoes (Mansfield studio only)
To help keep our studio clean we are introducing shoe racks to each studio or waiting area. All students are to take off their shoes and place on the racks. This is a rule which will also be followed when restrictions are lifted.

Pole/hoop allocation
Your instructor will allocate you a piece of equipment which will be located at a safe distance away from other poles or hoops. It will be cleaned and disinfected after each use/class. Please refrain from moving away from your allocated area or using other equipment. If you need to move away from your equipment please notify your instructor so she can make provisions to keep others safe.

Use of Toilets
Toilet’s will be available in all venues and floor lines will guide you safely to them, however, to lower cross contamination please attempt to not use them whilst present at the studios. At our Mansfield studio we have provided antibacterial wipes for customers to wipe down all surfaces after use. Please dispose these in the bin provided not down the toilet.

Towels and spray cleaners
Please bring your own towels from home to clean down the equipment. We will provide antibacterial spray bottles which will be cleaned after each class. At this time we cannot provide cleaning cloths due to cross contamination.

Masks
Due to the type of activity we participate in masks can be restrictive to breathing. If you would like to bring a mask please do so, however it is not a requirement due to how restrictive it can be. If the government guidelines change in regards to this we will inform you. Mission Studios hope to have masks to sell to the general public we will keep you informed.

Changing and Facilities
It is important you come to your classes in your workout garments to avoid cross contamination of changing rooms. We would advise not to use changing rooms however they are still available to use.

Entering / Exiting Classes

We are putting different systems in for different areas:

Mansfield (Studio 1) – To enter studio 1 please enter and exit via the black steps that lead into our reception area, located at the back of the units in the car park.

Mansfield (Studio 2) – To enter Studio 2 please enter and exit via the large black steps located between all the units behind Elliot Mathers solicitors, you can find this by going from the carpark, under the building and turning left. We shall put signage to help with locating this entrance.

Chesterfield – To enter studio 2 please enter and exit through the front doors of the building as usual. Other studios have been allocated different entrance and exit routes to ensure classes are not crossing the same path.

Selston / Alfreton – To enter the dance studio please enter by the normal route. We have not had confirmation from the venue of any other route however there is a possibility they may require us to use the fire exit located in the studio room near the stereo. We shall notify you of this.

Booking A Class
To ensure all of our customers get a fair chance to book on we have doubled the amount of classes that are available to book. Please be courteous of other customers and only book 1 class per week. If we have spaces available on a certain class, we will send a message out on social media with details of what is available, which will then give customers the opportunity to book another space. We feel this keeps it fair for everyone to try and make a session.

You can also see on GymCatch how many spaces are spare for a certain class.

Maximum Capacity
To keep you safe and to stick to regulations we are allocating one person to one piece of equipment. No equipment can be shared, even if you are from the same household.

Personal Details
It is important that your details are up to date on our GymCatch System. By law we need to be able to contact all customers in the event of contact tracing. Please update your profile before booking any classes.

Private classes
We are still taking bookings for private classes if you feel our semi private classes are not suitable for you. If you would like to book please contact us to find a preferred time and date.
